April is designated as Month of the Military Child. We’re not providing therapy to kids at Swell just yet - but we know how big of a challenge it can be to find a great therapist for young ones.  With this in mind, we wanted to share other resources that we believe can help. 

Sesame Street for Military Families

Military Child Education Coalition

    • feelings of acceptance, fostering connection, stress management, etc. 

FOCUS On the GO! (Families OverComing Under Stress)

  • An app to help your family build on current strengths as a military family and teach new skills to keep you prepared for whatever might come your way

  • Games that teach kids skills for problem solving and telling their story

  • Podcasts, webinars, external websites filled with parenting resources for children of all ages (themes: conflict resolution, grief, trauma, etc.)
