Better mental healthcare for Tennessee & Kentucky.

Swell is a mental health platform for the middle & working class - the people who can’t afford to pay hundreds out of pocket for therapy.

All are welcome here, and we’re working to expand our insurance network so that more people in Tennessee & Kentucky can access affordable therapy.

While many mental health issues are universal, our therapists get additional training/support for issues that disproportionately affect service members, military spouses, and first responders.

Our therapists are accepting new clients now. No waitlist.

In addition to evidence-based talk therapy, we give you access to skill-building exercises that help you practice and solidify the techniques you learn with your therapist.

Our platform is not subscription-based. Sessions are 55 minutes and happen over video through your phone or computer. We get your insurance (Tricare, Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, or BCBS) to cover the cost of your sessions & provide our app for free.

Ready to get started?

Download our app, choose the therapist who most resonates with you & book a time for your first session.

A member of our team will reach out to give you encouragement, confirmation of insurance coverage & answer any questions you have.

Meet Two of Our Therapists

Both are accepting new clients!

Jessica Brady, LPC-MHSP

“Therapy is a safe space to spill the tea. No matter how supportive our friends, family, and partners are we all hit a wall with sharing-we convince ourselves that we have overshared or over burdened them so we end up holding our thoughts, feelings, worries, shame, and pain inside. That is where therapy can help. Therapy provides a place to talk without judgement or fear. I am hear to listen and to walk with you through the pain and healing.

In my sessions I utilize a lot of cognitive behavioral skills. We will focus on how our thoughts create our feelings and then feelings drive our behaviors. It can be so powerful when we learn to identify and reframe our negative thinking patterns in efforts to gain control over our emotions.”

Kelly Sevin, LMFT

“I see therapy as a collaborative process where I seek to understand you, your needs and your goals while offering new perspectives and teaching you new skills.

I want to help you understand yourself more and to find healing in relationships with others and with yourself.

I am the Director of Clinical Therapy at Swell Health and am passionate about helping people find their purpose, believe in their inherent value, and cultivate happiness.”
